Graduating in the top 1% of his class from the University of London, UK, Dr. Patel received a Master of Science degree in Implantology from prestigious Goethe University in Frankfurt, with notable research in Immediate Implant and Restoration technique. 

He has continued to advance his expertise through numerous postgraduate courses and certifications in advanced techniques and material. He has received highest awards as in:

-Master of American General Dentistry: Designation "Master of the Academy of General Dentistry" (MAGD) signifies that a dentist is a highly qualified and committed professional who has achieved a high level of expertise in general dentistry.

-Diplomate of International Congress of Implantologists. Achieving Diplomate status from the ICOI is a significant professional milestone, indicating advanced knowledge and expertise in implant dentistry

Dr. Patel and his team are known for their approach to serving patients with an emphasis on long term “relationship” care. Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Patel is committed to giving back to the community, participating in outreach programs and dental mission trips to provide care to underserved populations. Through their Smiles for Humanity 501c they have served in this role for many years in The Philippines, Thailand and the Dominic Republic. He has also shared his extensive knowledge, supervising young dentists in Implant surgeries in Mexico. In recognition of his contributions, he has been awarded the Certificate of Meritorious Service by the ADA and Life-Long Service award from the AGD!

Dr. Sheryl was proudly born and raised here in the East Bay. She attended California State University, East Bay for her undergraduate studies and then completed her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California. Her inspiration to pursue dentistry began when she was 18 years old while working part-time at Cosmetic Dentistry of Hayward.

Dr. Sheryl is excited to serve the community that raised her. She is committed to providing the best quality care to all her patients, and she believes it is important for her patients to be fully informed in order to make the best decisions for their oral health. Her goal for you as a patient is to not only leave healthier, but happier.

Dr. David Rustamzadeh, or as we like to call him, Dr. Dave was raised in Almaden Valley in San Jose, California. He attended Leland High School and earned his Bachelors from Santa Clara University. He then went on to get his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU followed by a residency program in General Dentistry. Following his residency program, Dr. Dave successfully completed a Post-Graduate Periodontics program at Boston University where he earned a Certificate of Periodontology concomitant with a Master of Science in oral biology.

After a year of private practice in Manhattan, he decided it was time to move back to his home in the Bay Area. He has now been serving patients in the Bay Area since 2006 and has been with us for over 10 years. Dr. Dave comes in monthly to help our patients with periodontal and implant therapy.
